Hand Painted Terracotta Diya (Set of 4)

The beautiful collection of traditional yet stylish terracotta Akhand and Chapti diyas are handcrafted, by potters of Kutch and hand painted using enchanting and vibrant colours by trained differently-abled individuals of Bhavnagar. Akhand or Fanas diyas have mirror work, effortless designs; have enough space to hold the oil and the ‘batti’, and a chimney on top of the colourful clay lamp/diya that covers the light from going off. Akhand diyas can/usually last up to 12 hours if filled with ghee properly. Chapti diyas on the other hand have a distinct and unusual shape that makes them unique. Hand painted using intricate yet simple patterns and designs that will give the surrounding a soothing vibe.
